Joni Eareckson Tada was paralyzed from the neck down at the age of 17. Joni went through difficult stages of depression and even tried to end her life numerous times. Today she takes strength in God and has her own ministry called Joni and Friends in which she and many others strive to help the disabled.
Joni has a few music albums and even sang the theme song for the movie Alone Yet Not Alone. Her voice is quite lovely and the energy and sincerity she puts into her music is so inspirational.

I take great joy in watching Joni’s faith in God and she is an ever constant reminder of God’s presence in the life of the believer.
